Original Item: Only One Available. Nice example of a World War One era Danish Army enlisted man’s kepi (M15). With WWI underway to the south of neutral Denmark, the Army decided to introduce a better-camouflaged uniform in 1915. The light gray was, in fact, a poorly-chosen color and was quickly deemed a temporary measure. Nevertheless, the gray uniform continued to be used up until 1939, although it was officially supplanted by the olive-green 1923 uniform. The “9” on the front indicates that this soldier was a member of the 9th Battalion. Size is approximately a US 7 (56cm) and the interior crown bear a marker marking. Named in ink on the inside of the leather sweatband. Offered in overall very good condition.
